The visiting trip of Vietnamese juniors to Japan was initiated by honored chairman and founder of Kyocera Group Kazuo Inamori, aiming to faciliate cross-border networking among junior students. Kick started in 1976, the program has brought many students from Japan to visit US, and brought American, Chinese students to Japan. The program first came to Vietnam in 2016.

Talking about the purpose of the exchange trip, Kazuo said: This opportunity is fairly provided to the students regardless of their family background or study result as young minds are highly receptive to new knowledge and their views remain unbiased. We hope that the program will help increase juniors' self-belief, inspire them to find their aspiration, motivate them to put their hearts in realizing their goals and become holistic-vision leaders in future./.
