(VNF) – Prime Minister (PM), Nguyen Tan Dung has approved policy of building a coastal highway route through Thanh Hoa, Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Hai Phong and Quang Ninh.

As planned, the coastal highway route will be invested before 2020, except sections through Thai Binh and Nam Dinh to be constructed after 2020.

The PM asked people’s committees of the six provinces and cities to coordinate with the Ministry of Transport and related ministries and branches to do research, set up, approve and realize the project under his decision 129/QĐ-TTg on January 18^th, 2010 on a detailed scheme for Vietnam’s coastal highway.

The localities were urged to associate with the Ministry of Planning and Investment to propose capital sources and submit to the PM./.
