In the framework of mass art performance to mark the 40th anniversary of southern liberation and national unification (April 30th), non-professional artists from mass artistic troupes from the northern provinces of Bac Kan and Bac Giang, the Central Highlands province of Dak Nong, the central city of Da Nang and the southern province of Tien Giang had performances to serve ethnic people in Dakrong district, the central province of Quang Tri. A part from songs about national homeland, artists also brought items imbued with traditional cultural identities such as folklore singing.

According to Mr Vuong Duy Bao, deputy head of the Department of Grassroots Culture under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, on this occasion, mass artistic troupes will organize performances in Vinh Linh and Dakrong districts and Quang Tri town to serve local people and help them understand the values of historical Ho Chi Minh campaign, contribution by Uncle Ho and great position of the Party./
