(VNF) - The Hanoi Railways Company offered a special promotional discount of 50% on some routes and additional trains to meet the increased demand for travelers during the Hung Kings' death anniversary, Southern Liberation Day and May Day.

Accordingly, from 00h00 April 1st to 23h59 April 10th, 2016, passengers can get 50% discounted tickets for Hanoi - Da Nang, Hanoi - Dong Hoi, Hanoi - Vinh routes, applicable for trains departing from April 28th to May 3rd.

From May 4th-20th, a 30% reduction will be intended for tickets purchased 30 days before the departing time of TN1/TN2, SE1/SE2, SE5/SE6 trains. This policy is just applied for a distance more than 1,300 km. The cheapest ticket, heading for Sai Gon station, is VND404,000.

For SE19/SE20 trains (Hanoi - Da Nang route), a 40% reduction will be intended for tickets purchased 50 days before the departing time, a 30% reduction will be intended for tickets purchased 40-49 days before the departing time, a 20% reduction will be intended for tickets purchased 20-39 days before the departing time. These tickets are applied for a distance more than 600km. The cheapest ticket, heading for Da Nang station, is VND192,000.

On NA1/NA2 trains between Hanoi and Nghe An province, there is a 30% discount for one no air-conditioned hard seat coach. The cheapest ticket is VND98,000.

Besides, the Company also establishes additional trains are as follow:

SE17/SE18 trains for the Hanoi - Da Nang route: SE17 train will depart from Hanoi at 20h40 on April 29th, arrive at Da Nang at 14h52 of the following day, while SE18 train will depart from Da Nang at 15h10 on May 2nd, and arrive at Hanoi at 08h45 of the following day.

QB1/QB2 and QB3/QB4 trains for the Hanoi - Dong Hoi route: QB1 train will depart from Hanoi at 21h05 on April 28th-29th, arrive at Dong Hoi at 08h30 of the following day; QB3 train will depart from Hanoi at 21h30 on April 29th, arrive at Dong Hoi at 09h05 of the following day; QB2 train will depart from Dong Hoi at 17h10 on April 29th, May 2nd-3rd, arrive at Hanoi at 05h10 of the following day; and QB4 train will depart from Dong Hoi at 20h20 on May 2nd, then arrive at Hanoi at 07h25 of the following day.

NA3/NA4, NA7/NA8, NA9/NA10, and NA11/NA12 trains for the Hanoi - Vinh route: NA3 train will depart from Hanoi on April 15th, 28th-29th; NA7, NA9, and NA11 trains will depart from Hanoi on April 29th; NA4 train will depart from Vinh on April 28th, May 2nd-3rd; NA8 and NA10 trains will depart from Vinh on May 2nd, and NA12 train will depart from Vinh on May 2nd-3rd.

LP10 train is for the Hanoi - Hai Phong route.

For the Hanoi - Lao Cai route, apart from main SP1/SP2, SP3/SP4, SP7/SP8, LC3/LC4, and YB1/YB2 trains, passengers can travel with SP5/SP6 trains.
