Bodies of 22 victims in Lao military plane crash found
The Lao Ministry of National Defence announced that its search team had found the wreckage of the Mi-17 military plane that crashed in Longcheng district in the northern province of Saysomboun on July 27.

As of the July 29 evening, bodies of 22 victims were discovered. The search for another is underway.
Lao relevant agencies are investigating the case. Bad weather is predicted to cause the accident.
The Mi-17 helicopter, with four crewmembers and 19 passengers on board, was en route to the provinces of Xiengkhouang and Houaphan when it lost contact with the Aviation Control Centre shortly after departing the capital city of Vientiane./.
