A conference to stimulate travel demand between Hanoi and six tourists markets (the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Belarus) recently exempted from visa was held on July 23^rd, in Hanoi.

At the conference, tourism businesses contributed ideas to building tourism products, intensifying overseas promotion and carrying out more travel demand stimulus programmes to attract tourists from the six markets.

Mr. Truong Minh Tien, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism affirmed that Hanoi would take strong and drastic actions in promoting and stimulating travel demand in the six markets and he also asked relevant agencies to sign engagements to participate into the travel demand stimulus programmes in the markets.

He urged tourism businesses to set plans for building their own tourism products which are suitable to every market.

Earlier, the Hanoi municipal People’s Committee issued instruction 11/CT-UBND enhancing the effect of state management and repairing weakness to speed up tourism development./.
