Coal and mineral revenue hits over VND54 trillion

The Vietnam National Coal – Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited (Vinacomin) continued to see growth in production and business activities in the first half of 2015, according to the corporation’s latest statistics.

Coal and mineral revenue hits over VND54 trillion

Specifically, Vinacomin’s revenue reached an estimated VND54.7 trillion, a year-on-year rise of 3.5%. The revenue included VND26.2 trillion from coal (down 4%), VND3.2 trillion from mineral production and sales (up 7.3%), VND6.2 trillion (down 3.5%) and VND1.3 trillion from mechanical production (up 3.2%).

Vinacomin and its member units strived to maintain production and ensured employment for workers. Turnover of production fields achieved 46-50% of the year’s plan. Crude oil output is expected to reach 20.7 million tonnes in 2015./.
