Danish Ambassador to Vietnam honoured with MoNRE’s medal
(VNF) - Danish Ambassador to Vietnam Charlotte Laursen received the Medal for the Cause of Natural Resources and the Environment from Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MoNRE) on January 15th.

At the awarding ceremony, Minister Tran Hong Ha hailed the active and effective support and assistance provided by Denmark to Vietnam in general and the MoNRE in particular.
Congratulating the Ambassador on fulfilling her tasks, the Minister noted that as head of the MoNRE and the President of the Vietnam-Denmark Friendship Association, he appreciated the contribution of Ambassador Charlotte Laursen in promoting the mandate between Vietnam and Denmark through people's diplomatic activities, especially the close attention and coordination with the Vietnam-Denmark Friendship Association to successfully organise many activities such as the painting competition "Denmark in your eyes" in 2016 and 2017.
He also thanked the Ambassador and the Danish Embassy for creating favourable conditions and making positive contributions to the promotion of bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and Denmark in the fields of education, climate change, and environmental protection.
“The important events of the Natural Resources and Environment sector always received the enthusiastic concern of Ambassador Charlotte Laursen and the Danish Embassy," said the Minister.
Minister Tran Hong Ha expressed his hopes with her experience, the Ambassador will continue to support Vietnam-Denmark relations and two countries’ ministries of Natural Resources and Environment cooperations.

For her part, Ambassador Laursen thanked Minister Tran Hong Ha and MoNRE for providing favourable conditions for her to fulfill tasks during her term in Vietnam.
Expressing her honour of receiving this noble reward, the Ambassador said, in the coming years and at new position, she will continue her contributions to further consolidating and developing the diplomatic relations between the two countries and two ministries of Natural Resources and Environment./.
