Returning to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang this year, European Literature Days 2019 will bring you more books, more activities, and more opportunities to take a closer look at the literature, lifestyles, and cultures of Europe.

This year, with books from British Council, Czechia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Spain, Sweden and Wallonie-Bruxelles (Belgium), the festival promises something for every reader’s taste. Audiences will be available to browse books in the conference rooms, exhibitions. There will also be a chance to meet authors, listen to talks and readings, or register for workshops and participate in interactive activities. Especially, the “European characters in Vietnam” contest is organized by EUNIC and Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary and High School. The winners’ drawings will be displayed at L’Espace and Goethe Institute.

In Hanoi, all events will take place at Casa Italia, the Goethe-Institut, L’Espace, Hanoi University and Bluebirds’net Café, while in HCMC events will be at British Council, IDECAF, USSH University, Café Salon Saturday or in Book Street HCMC. In Da Nang, the events will be at Da Nang General Science Library and French Institute.
