Exhibition celebrates ties between Vietnam and European countries
(VNF) - As many as 55 paintings capturing the land and people of Vietnam and foreign countries by 14 European artists are being displayed at an exhibition at the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum.

2018 marks the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the European countries. On the occasion of 43 years of Da Nang Liberation Day (March 29th, 1975-2018), the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum is hosting a contemporary art exhibition of European artists who are living and working in Da Nang city and Quang Nam province
The exhibition introduces to the public works in different materials and techniques of expression, created by artists from the countries of Europe such as the UK, France, Russia, the Netherlands and Norway, are living and working in Da Nang city and Quang Nam province in the central region.
Addressing the opening ceremony on March 24th, the museum’s Director Ha Thanh Van said the exhibition, themed “Connection,” aims to enhance the international friendship, cooperation and exchange in culture and arts, while helping Vietnamese painters share experience with European colleagues.
It is also expected to bring foreign friends closer to Da Nang people, he added.
