Expat Vietnamese students to join camp in Germany

(VNF) - Many expat Vietnamese students are to partake in a camp, slated to run in Berlin, Germany in mid August.

The Vietnam Student Association in Germany on Saturday organized a press meeting to announce a camp for expat Vietnamese youths and students in Europe, which is set to run in Berlin from August 14 to 16.

The program is patronized by the Vietnam Embassy to Germany.

Dr. Nguyen Phuc Hien, First Secretary of the Vietnam Embassy to Germany who is in charge of education and overseas Vietnamese students, told the meeting that this year’s camp is one of the activities meant to mark the 40th anniversary of Vietnam-Germany ties.

The event is intended to connect overseas Vietnamese youths and students in Germany and Europe in general.

According to Viet Anh, an overseas Vietnamese student, this year’s event will stand out from previous ones with the presence of Vietnamese students from such countries as the U.K., Czech Republic, France, Belgium and the Netherlands and representatives of youth associations and academic organizations in Vietnam and Germany.

The camp will feature a wide range of activities, including a Sivita gala, scientific, job orientation seminars and sports competitions./.
