According to the committee, the fund helped 4.3 million families get the certificates of excellent business households.

In 2014, to make the fund more effective, the committee said that together with an acceleration of disbursement of capital to stimulate farmers’ production, its branches across the city organized a range of training courses to transfer advanced technologies in production and share farmers’ production experience.

In particular, 6 million members received training courses on agricultural production while 200,000 others were trained on economic development models. As a result, 2,800 economic development models were distributed and expanded, including the breeding and raising of snakeheads in Vinh Long province, shrimp raising in Nam Dinh, momordica cochinchinensis planting for exports in Bac Ninh province, chicken raising in Hung Yen and Thai Binh provinces, and grapefruit planting in Khanh Hoa province./.
