A Vietnam Film Week will take place on October 8th -15th in Quang Ninh province organized by the Cinema and Film Distribution Centre under the Quang Ninh provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to welcome the 14th provincial Party Congress for 2015-2020 tenure.

The film week was screened at Ha Long, Quang Trung cinemas in Uong Bi city and mountainous, border, island districts and difficult regions in the province with the film: “From congress to congress”, “Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh”, “Uncle Ho with Quang Ninh”, “Live with history” and etc. Places to screen films are decorated banners, posters, slogans. The local people are also communicated about significance and contents of the film week.

The film week was opened on October 8th at Ha Long cinema with the film “The Prophet”, which is about revolutionary activities of Uncle Ho in the 1947-1950 period./.
