Firework display planned for Sapa Tourism Culture Week 2015
The Prime Minister has approved a firework display for the opening of the 2015 Sapa Culture and Tourism Week on April 30th, in the northern province of Lao Cai.

The display will take place over Xuan Vien lake, near the center of Sapa town. In addition, there will be a program of short events highlighting the cultural activities of the local ethnic minority people at the opening ceremony.
The week will take place between April 28th and May 3rd, with numerous cultural, sporting and tourism activities taking place such as cloud festival, a cultural festival in the Mong Cat Cat village, a traditional clothing performance from a range of the Sapa ethnic minority groups and the “One day of being farmer” program, a gastronomy festival and a photo exhibition about the Sapa land and people.
Visitors will have a chance to join special tours associated with new tourism products such as visiting four new tourism routes within the Hoang Lien Son National Park, a street festival and a programme of exploring cultural heritages of Sapa ethnic minorities.
Sa Pa is expected to welcome more than 50,000 visitors during the week. Currently, accommodation providers in Sapa are preparing about 5,000 rooms and home-stay accommodations in villages are ready to welcome visitors./.
