Five months: Over 613,000 laborers provided jobs
In the first five months of 2016, the country created jobs for some 613,800 laborers, accounting for 38.3% of the year’s plan, according to Ms Dao Hong Lan, Deputy Minister of Labor, War-Invalids and Social Affairs.

Of the total figure, over 43,800 people were sent to work abroad.
Regarding vocational training, Deputy Minister Hong Lan said that as of late April, 1,465 vocational training foundations had been established, including 189 colleges, 279 schools and 997 centres. In April, some 282,000 were enrolled at vocational training foundations.
From now until the end of this year, the labor sector will increase information and forecasts about the labor market, as well as increase the number of work fairs between enterprises and laborers./.
