French medical technologies companies seek bussiness opportunities in Vietnam

(VNF) - As many as nine internationally recognized French companies specialized in medical technologies will travel to Vietnam to seek business cooperation.

These companies will have business to business meetings with Vietnamese partners on June 16th in Hanoi (Pullman Hotel from 8.15 am to 12.30 pm) and on June 17th in Ho Chi Minh city (Pullman Hotel from 8.15 am to 12.30 pm).

They are ATA (air quality on the medical market), BERTIN TECHNOLOGIES (medical waste treatment system), DELACROIX CHEVALIER (surgical instrumental for cardiac and thoracic surgeries); GELSCOM (radio opaque implantable gels); HELIOSCOPIE (mini-invasive medical implants for obesity treatment); MEDICREA (surgical spinal implants); PROTECSOM (medical devices for asthma and allergy); THUASNE (ortheses and medical compression hosiery); and VYGON (single use medical devices).

Inpidual appointments will also take place throughout the seminar between French companies and Vietnamese partners/customers.

The medical device market in Vietnam is estimated at USD950 million. It is expected to reach USD1.2 billion by 2016. Some 90% of its local demands are imported, thus providing French companies with number of opportunities. Reducing hospitals saturation and improving the quality of care are the main challenges to meet./.
