German Business Association in Vietnam announces new leaders

(VNF) - The German Business Association (GBA) in Vietnam announced that it has elected a new Board Management for 2015. Mr. Jens Ruebbert, Chief Country Officer of Deutsche Bank AG, was elected as the Chairman of the Board.

(VNF) - The German Business Association (GBA) in Vietnam announced that it has elected a new Board Management for 2015. Mr. Jens Ruebbert, Chief Country Officer of Deutsche Bank AG, was elected as the Chairman of the Board.

The GBA Executives elected to the Board are:

Chairman: Jens Ruebbert, Chief Country Officer of Deutsche Bank AG.

Vice chairpersons: Dr. Thai-Lai Pham, President & CEO Siemens Limited Vietnam; and Roman Kuebler, General Director B. Braun Vietnam Co., Ltd.

Treasurer: Dr. Evert Helms, General Director Pepperl + Fuchs (Vietnam) Co., Ltd.

Board members - Ho Chi Minh city: Andreas Harbauer, General Manager Dräger Medical Vietnam Co., Ltd; Prof. Dr. Juergen Mallon, President Vietnamese-German University; Borries Plass, General Director Digital Xpress Vietnam; Vo Quang Hue, Managing Director Bosch Vietnam Co., Ltd; Marko Walde, Chief Representative German Industry & Commerce Vietnam; and Jan Walter, Managing Director Northern SEA Fresenius Kabi.

Board members - Hanoi: Oliver Massmann, Director Duane Morris Vietnam LLC; Sascha Kirchner, General Manager North Vietnam, Häfele Vina JSC; and Kai-Marcus Schröter, General Director HTM Management Consultancy Co., Ltd.

Founded in 1995, approved and licensed by the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh city in 1998, GBA is one of the longest established business associations and a founding-member of EUROCHAM in Vietnam. It represents more than 168 established German corporations in Vietnam, promoting business, economic, cultural, and other activities of common interest to its members. The Association’s core objective is to foster and to improve business relationships between the two nations./.
