In November, enterprises in Ho Chi Minh city expect to provide 17,000 stable jobs and 10,000 seasonal and part-time jobs, the city Centre of Forecasting Manpower Needs and Labour Market Information (FALMI) reported on October 22nd.

Ho Chi Minh city’s enterprises to recruit 27,000 labourers

The demand for unskilled labourers accounts for about 30%, with a further 20% with university or other higher education being sought, 50% coming directly from college (15%), vocational training establishments (23%) and existing technical workers making up 12%.

According to Tran Anh Tuan, FALMI Vice Director, the demand focuses on business, service, information technology, textile and garment, leather footwear, tourism, consultancy, insurance, mechanics, electronics, electrics, real estate, construction and architecture industries.

He added that enterprises tend to recruit highly qualified and skilled labourers while they will also increase the recruitment of common labourers for year-end production and service activities./.
