Room and services prices of all motels and hotels in Sapa district were listed and made public after a month of compiling the data and producing the list, reported the Lao Cai Newspaper.

Currently, Sa Pa has 185 tourist accommodation establishments with a total of 3,119 rooms, of which nine are three to four-star hotels, 24 are two-star hotels and 52 are one-star hotel and 100 guesthouses. In addition, the district also has 107 local families providing overnight stays (Homestay) in Ta Van and Ban Ho, Ta Phin communes.

The price listing will contribute to preventing price changes and overcharging tourists in Sa Pa. This is considered as a positive step forward for sustainable tourism development in Sa Pa./.
