Humanitarian aid distributed in Ha Giang
The Vietnam Red Cross (VRC) Central Committee on October 17th worked with the Ha Giang provincial People’s Committee to hand over humanitarian aid in Ngoc Minh commune, Vi Xuyen district, to mark the 70th anniversary of the VRC.

Under the program, 70 houses, 70 cows and 70 water containers worth VND7 billion were distributed to poor families who do not have stable income, beneficiaries’ families, disabled people and victims of Agent Orange/dioxin.
After 3 months of application, the VRC Central Committee, the Ha Giang provincial People’s Committee and residents in Ngoc Minh commune have completed the works and distributed the aid to beneficiaries.
According to VRC President Nguyen Thi Xuan Thu, special constructions to welcome the 70th year of VRC set perse records in terms of the shortest time of construction and the largest number of collectives and inpiduals participating.
Ha Thi Minh Hanh, Vice Chairwoman of the Ha Giang provincial People’s Committee, showed her gratitude towards the VRC's care for poor people in the province, adding that she hoped to receive greater support in social welfare work to assist local residents to sustainably escape poverty./.
