Hundreds of fishermen provided with life-jackets
The Traffic Police Department under the Ministry of Public Security on September 1st presented over 200 life-jackets and life saving equipment to fishermen and those who live by fishing in Quang Yen town in the northern province of Quang Ninh.

The equipment aims to ensure safety through waterways traffic by reducing the number of deaths by drowning at sea and encouraging people to obey waterway traffic laws.
Over the past 3 years, the province has mobilised 10,000 life-jackets and 5,000 floating equipment to support fishermen and those who live on fishing at sea in the province./.
