On the occasion of the visit to Vietnam by General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and President of China Xi Jinping, on November 5th, the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) and the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) worked together to gather friendly personalities from the two countries.

Speaking during the meeting, VUFO President, Vu Xuan Hong welcomed the CPAFFC delegation led by its President, Ms Li Xiaolin, to visit Vietnam, affirming that this was an important event which held great significance in the two countries friendship.

Presidents Vu Xuan Hong and Li Xiaolin reviewed the major events held by the two organizations since the beginning of this year to mark the 65^th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnamese and Chinese diplomatic relations.

According to President Vu Xuan Hong, in the upcoming time, the VUFO and CPAFFC, together with relevant friendly organizations will continue to make contributions to heightening the relationship between the two countries.

Ms Li Xiaolin informed during the meeting that the 7^th session of the Vietnam – China People’s Forum would be held by late November in which she said she hoped that friendly personalities from the two countries would reinforce the friendship and increase practical cooperation with their presence.

During the meeting, Vietnamese and Chinese personalities showed their aspiration that the State level visit to Vietnam by General Secretary of the CPC and President of China Xi Jinping would help the two countries’ leaders develop important policies to further enhance the traditional friendship relations, including those between all the people of the two countries./.
