Korean partners assist building of school for Vietnamese highland pupils

The Office of the Vietnamese Government, the Korean Woori Bank and the Food for the Hungry International- Korea (KFHI) on October 15th inaugurated and handed over the Tan Loi educational foundation under the Trung Hoi primary school in Dinh Hoa district, the northern province of Thai Nguyen.

Speaking during the inauguration ceremony, Vice Head of the Office of the Government Nguyen Cao Luc appreciated the assistance from Korean organizations for supporting Vietnam’s cultural and educational development.

According to Mr. Luc, the support has helped localities overcome difficulties and promote socio-economic development, thus reinforcing the friendly and cooperative relationship between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea.

The Tan Loi educational foundation completed will bring a comfortable educational environment for local pupils.

Starting in May with a total capital of VND2.5 billion, the educational foundation includes 2-storey building with 4 classrooms and 2 restrooms in each storey, providing a total area of 296 square metres.

The building is part of the campus which has an area of 510 square metres.

Under the program, 4 another existing classrooms were upgraded and the fences were constructed./.
