(VNF) – The Northern region is the most heated part in the country. In some areas, the temperature has hit 38 celsicious degree. The burning sun is fierce.

Yesterday, the heat affected in a widespan, spreading from Northern Vietnam to Thanh Hoa province (North Central). Average temperature was between 34-37o C.

Particularly, the temperature soared to over 37 C in Lao Cai city (Lao Cai province), Ha Giang city (Ha Giang province), Dong Da district (Hanoi). In Cho Ra commune and Ba Be commune (Bac Kan province), temperature was 37.8 and 38o C respectively.

Today, July 31, affected by the high-level pergent wind, the heat will continue to bake North Vietnam, and expand to the whole North Central region. Many areas is forecast to hit 37-38o C. From 12-16h, temperature will be above 35o.

​At 7 am, outside temperature was 29o C. The number increased by 1o C after each hour, and is forecast to reach its peak between 15-16h. Temperature will slightly decrease when the sun fades. At 19h, temperature will be at 33-34o C.

The heat might persist until August 1. From August 2 on, the heat will weaken, but at a slow pace, decreasing by 4-5o C, to 32o C./.
