The launching ceremony was held on 20 July 2015 with the participation of Mr. Nguyen Quy Phuong, head of the Travel Management Department under Vietnam National Administration of Tourism; Mr. Truong Minh Tien, Deputy Director of Ha Noi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; representatives of VNH, Northern Viet Nam Helicopter Company (VNHN), FLC Group, KLF Global; representatives of Viet Nam Tourism Association, Ha Noi Tourism Association and tourism enterprises.
Besides the activities of providing helicopter services for Viet Nam’s Oil and Gas industry, VNH has provided helicopter tourism services for years by utilizing capacity of oil and gas helicopter fleets. VNH coordinated with KLF Global for the first time to operate a private fleet to serve tourists in Northern and Central regions with EC130T2 aircraft.
The EC130 T2 is a lightweight single-engine helicopter generation of Airbus Helicopters, setting the standard for tour operations worldwide. EC130T2 is equipped with wide cabin accommodating 5 to 6 passengers and 1 to 2 pilots, large windows offering passengers to enjoy the spectacular view. The forward-facing, energy absorbing seats provide passengers with ample legroom. EC130T2 is one of the quietest helicopters with an efficient air conditioning system which contributes to making the journey comfortable./.
