The Tien Giang provincial Party Committee Congress voted a 50-member Executive Committee for the 2015-2020 tenure on October 21st. Mr. Nguyen Van Danh was elected as Secretary of the provincial Party Committee.

Mr. Le Hong Quang, Vo Van Binh and Le Van Huong were elected as Deputy Secretaries.

The provincial Party Executive Committee selected 11 members to the Commission for Inspection with Chairman Nguyen Ngoc Tram.

The congress also voted 17 official members and two alternate members to a delegation to attend the 12th National Party Congress.

Mr. Nguyen Van Danh was born in 1962 in Phuoc Thanh commune, My Tho city. He had been Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee (term 9th), Chairman of the provincial People’s Council and Head of the delegation of Tien Giang National Assembly deputies.

The 10th Tien Giang provincial Party Committee Congress, themed “improving the leadership capacity of the party committee, enhancing solidarity, promoting democracy and activeness and building the province toward sustainable development”, opened on October 20th.

The congress reviewed achievements over the past tenure, analyzed weakness to learn from experience and defined targets, tasks and solutions for the development of the province in the 2015-2020 tenure./.
