The results have been brought about by increased investment in the electricity network from wide range of resources.

In particular, the province completed programs on providing power to 5 Central Highlands provinces set by the Prime Minister.

In addition, 98% of a project to improve the power network and upgrade transformer stations’ capacity has been carried out. Under the project, over 30 kilometres of middle voltage line, 406 kilometres of low voltage line and 64 transformer stations have been built, producing a capacity of 8,900 kVA and providing power for 12,536 ethnic minority families at a total cost of over VND193 billion,.

In addition, 28 power constructions are being built to provide power for some 290,000 ethnic minority families in extremely disadvantaged regions for their daily lives and production.

At present, the province is continuing to mobilise more resources to invest in power provision for people and to realise the target of 100% of families having access to the national grid by 2020./.
