No Vietnamese affected in Sri Lanka’s bombings

At the request of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the embassy has been working closely with local competent agencies to keep update on the situation and promptly carry out citizen protection measures when necessary.

Eight explosions targeting churches and hotels hit Sri Lanka on Sunday Easter, leaving 207 dead, including 35 foreigners and injuring 450 others, police spokesman Ruwan Gunasekera told reporters in Colombo.
Two Turkish citizens were those killed in the attacks on Sunday, according to Turkey's state media Anadolu.
Chinese state paper People's Daily said one Chinese national was killed during the attacks, while Xinhua reported four others were injured and in a stable condition in hospital./.
