Over VND41 billion in assistance to flood-affected people
As of October 23rd, 413 rescue teams came to the central province of Ha Tinh where local residents suffered from serious flooding, bringing some VND41 billion to assist the affected people, said Nguyen Thi Mai Thuy, Vice Chairwoman of the provincial Fatherland Front.

Of which, 100 delegations, mainly from ministries, central agencies, provinces and cities across the country, organizations, domestic and international groups and enterprises, supported local residents with VND23.9 billion through the provincial assistance board.
In addition, 313 organizations, enterprises and sponsors have worked directly with affected regions to allocate money and goods worth over VND17 billion. Accordingly, hundreds of rice and noodle packages, together with medicine and other essential equipment, have been distributed to affected people.
At present, affected localities are working with rescue delegations to transport goods and money to the residents, helping them promptly return to their normal lives./.
