The activity aimed to mark the 68th commemoration of the Day for Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs (July 27th, 1947 – July 27th, 2015).

The delegation of leaders included Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, former Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh, State President Truong Tan Sang, former State President Tran Duc Luong, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, National Assembly (NA) Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung, former NA Chairman Nguyen Van An, together with other leaders.

The delegation’s wreath brought a row of letters showing their everlasting gratitude to heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the national liberation, independence and freedom, as well as for the happiness of people.

On the same day, delegations from Hanoi agencies, the Ministry of National Defence, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Labour, War-Invalids and Social Affairs, and a large number of people across the country as well as foreign delegations laid wreaths at the martyrs’ memorial and paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh to mark the event./.a
