The launch of these works aims to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the Wounded and Fallen Soldiers’ Day (July 27, 1947-2018).

Addressing the event, PM Phuc hailed Que Phu commune as a heroic land in the past resistance war, affirming that the Vietnamese Party, State, and people always remember the huge sacrifices of heroic martyrs and the significant contributions of revolutionary contributors in the struggle for national independence and freedom.

The mobilisation of funding from organisations, inpiduals and philanthropists for the repairs and upgrades to the Que Phu commune martyrs’ cemetery is a big lesson of experience in calling up resources for the construction of meaningful gratitude facilities, he said.

The Government leader expressed his sincere thanks to units and inpiduals for their financial assistance supporting the building of the martyrs’ cemetery, while asking Que Phu commune’s Party committee and authorities to take good care of the cemetery and organise much more practical deeds in the work of showing gratitude.

He encouraged the locality’s national contributors and policy beneficiary families to continue making contributions to the cause of national construction and protection, calling on Que Phu commune in particular, and other localities nationwide as a whole, to provide better care for policy beneficiaries.

On the occasion, PM Phuc presented 20 gifts to Que Phu’s outstanding policy beneficiary families on behalf of organisations, inpiduals and philanthropists./.
