The textbook price list is posted at the company’s bookstores and at other companies that supply books and equipment for schools.

The publishing house will distribute 40 million copies of textbooks to 17 southern provinces and cities for the 2018-19 school year.

As of July 23, in HCM City, 10 million copies of textbooks had been distributed and sold, an increase of 1 million compared to last school year.

The company has also published textbooks in ethnic minority languages.

The publishing house said that it had been working with provinces and cities to prevent illegally printed textbooks.

Students and parents should buy textbooks and other books at its bookstores and companies that supply books and equipment for schools.

These stores are now open daily and for extra hours, including weekends and holidays.

In the 2018-2019 academic year, the new curriculum and textbooks proposed under the Ministry of Education and Training’s plan will not be applied.

The new curriculum and textbooks for the first grade will be published in the 2019-2020 school year; for the second and sixth grades in the 2020-2021 year; for the third, seventh and tenth grades in the 2021-2022 year; for the fourth, eight, and eleventh grades in the 2022-2023; and for the fifth, ninth and 12th grades in the 2023-2024 year./.
