The northern province of Quang Ninh now has 12 enterprises joining domestic tourism stimulus programmes launched by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT), reported the administration.

The list of 12 enterprises includes three restaurants (Yen Duc in Dong Trieu district, Duc Phuc and Manh Cuong in Uong Bi city), six accommodation establishments (Duc Tung, Minh Hai, Nha Viet, Nam Phong, Hanoi and Hoa Son Tra Co), two travel companies (KTV Trade in Ha Long city and Yen Duc Tourism in Dong Trieu) and one shopping destination (Vin-Quint in Dong Trieu).

According to Quang Ninh Statistics Office, the province greeted over 5.2 million tourist arrivals in the first half of the year, in which 1.3 million arrivals were foreigners, a year-on-year rise of 3%.

In the coming time, Quang Ninh will continue to implement the overall plan for Quang Ninh tourism development, plan to develop tourism products until 2020, with a vision to 2030 and “Ha Long smile’ plan.

In addition, the province is cooperating with northern localities and Ho Chi Minh city to develop tourism products, conduct promotion campaigns, improve human resources, call for investment and strengthen the management of tourism./.
