The Vietnam Railway Corporation has announced it is applying ticket discounts of up to 50% to attract more passengers during the low season.

The Vietnam Railway Corporation has announced it is applying ticket discounts of up to 50% to attract more passengers during the low season.

The discount will be offered for passengers on Thong Nhat trains (from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh city) such as SE1/2, SE3/4, SE5/6, SE7/8 and TN1/TN2.

Accordingly, tickets purchased 60 days before the departing time (from now to January 18th, 2016 and from March 1st to April 14th, 2016) will have a 50% price cut while a 30% price reduction will be intended for tickets purchased 30 days before the time.

The price cuts are applied for inpidual passenger with a travel distance of more than 1,300 kilometers./.
