RoK’s NGO donates blankets for needy people in Vinh Phuc
(VNF) - On February 6th, Vinh Phuc’s Association of sponsoring the disabled people and orphan in collaboration with PAMWF organisation (Social Welfare Pyeong Ahn Milal Corporate Welfare Foundation) of the Republic of Korea (RoK) presented warm blankets for disabled people and orphaned children in three districts of Binh Xuyen, Tam Duong and Yen Lac.

At the handover ceremony, 100 disabled people and orphaned children received warm blankets from PAMWF organisation ahead of the Lunar New Year (Tet), each worth VND 400,000 (USD 17.6).
In addition to helping address the urgent needs of people with disability and orphaned children to have warm blankets in cold winter, the humanitarian goods also contribute to spread love and care for disadvantaged people and children, and helping them have a happy Tet.
The RoK’s PAMWF organisation has been active in the province since October 2013, mainly in education, health care and community development. The organisation determined to focus on key projects in mountainous area to enhance the quality of education, learning conditions and contributing to the implementation of social welfare policies.
In the occasion of Lunar New Year 2018, PAMWF has spent over VND 60 million (USD 2,640) to organise many meaningful activities such as donating VND 15 million (USD 660) to 50 disabled people in Yen Lac district; organising an New Year feast for orphans at Hope Centre of Lap Thach District and Sao Mai center of Tam Duong district; offering 100 blankets to disabled people and orphans in districts of Binh Xuyen, Tam Duong and Yen Lac./.
