(VNF) – The 2nd class Labour Order was conferred to the Embassy of Vietnam in India by President Tran Dai Quang in a visit made by the country leader to the Embassy on March 4.

Speaking at the awarding ceremony, the President congratulated the Embassy on receiving the prestigious merit and lauded the efforts and contribution the Embassy has made in strengthening the traditional friendship and partnership of the two countries in multi facets.

The President also expressed his firm belief in the practical contribution of the Embassy in the time to come, which will continue to help increase political trust and extend the Vietnam – India Strategic Partnership, making the partnership become more effective.

Ambassador Ton Sinh Thanh, on behalf of the Embassy, extended thank for the acknowledgement and trust of the Party and the State for the Embassy. He emphasized the patriotism, willingness, proactiveness, high level of responsibility of leaders and staff at the Embassy in the passing years, which have contributed to widening and deepening bilateral relations in many fields.

The Ambassador also affirmed the Embassy's commitment to fulfilling its missions in the time to come./.
