Sen Viet kindergarten nurtures Vietnamese soul for young generations in the Czech Republic
The Sen Viet kindergarten for Vietnamese children in the Czech Republic organized a ceremony to mark its 10 years of establishment and presented prizes to the winners of the photo contest “Nurturing happiness” in Prague on September 11th.
Since its early establishment, the kindergarten had only three teachers and six pupils. So far, after 10 years of establishment and development, the kindergarten has become a “badge of honour” of the overseas Vietnamese in the Czech Republic and neighbouring countries.
Over the past 10 years, the kindergarten has helped nearly 600 Vietnamese children, who were born in foreign countries but still retain their origin and mother tongue.
She also stressed that the kindergarten now gives priority to teaching Vietnamese well and creating favorable conditions for students to practice physical strength and skills.
Students are taught and lean songs, dances, a fairy tales as well as traditional manners and customs in Vietnamese languages.
At the ceremony, the organizing board also presented prizes to the most excellent photos among 64 entries of the photo contest “Nurturing happiness” about lovely moments of Vietnamese children, who were born and grew up in the Czech Republic.
The participants also enjoyed a lovely art program performed by students of the kindergarten./.
