Special students of the National Highschool Exams

(VNF) – The National Highschool Examination 2018 in Thua Thien – Hue province welcomed 16 middle-age students of ethnic minorities.

6 students taking the exams at Nam Dong Highschool are from the mountainous district of Nam Dong. The youngest one is Ho Van Ung (38), and the oldest are Doan Van Van and Ra Pat Bong (1969).

In the mountainous district of A Luoi, 9 candidates at Kim Dong primary school are above 40. The youngest is Hoang Van Tach (40) and the oldes are 53.

Another candidate is Le Van Hieu (46), Pa Co ethnic group, takes part in the exam held at the Hue National Highschool for the Gifted.

The only female candidate is Ho Thi Le (43), Co Tu ethnic group, from Hong Van commune, A Luoi district.

All the middle-age candidates are working for locality's agencies while studying the highschool programme in local Regular Training Center.

All of them have been married with children or even grandchildren. According to a candidate, obtaining the highschool certificate is not the key purpose of taking the exam. Instead, they do it to motivate the young generation in the family to study hard.

According to Nguyen Vinh Hung, head of the examination committe in Kim Dong school, the middle-age candidates showed good examples of hard work and discipline./.
