State President and Prime Minister send message congratulating US's Independence Day

(VNF) - On ocassion of the 241st anniversary of US's Independence Day (July 4), State President and Prime Minister of Vietnam has sent congratulation message to US President.

(VNF) - On ocassion of the 241st anniversary of US's Independence Day (July 4), State President and Prime Minister of Vietnam has sent congratulation message to US President.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, President Tran Dai Quang and PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc on Monday extended message of congratulation to US President Donald Trump in celebration of the 241st Independence Day of the US. (July 4, 1776-2017).

On the same day, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan sent her congratulary words to the Senate's president Michael Pence and speaker of House of Representatives Paul Ryan, while Deputy PM, Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh conveyed congratulation message to his counterpart Rex Tillerson.

Vietnam - US bilateral ties have been growing strongly since diplomatic relation was officially established in 1995. Bilateral cooperations have been firmly extended in every fields, such as politic-foreign affairs, economics-trade, security-national defense, culture, education, science - technology.

The relation of two countries have been fostered greatly through various high-level visits. The latest visit to US made by PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc in May has created new momentum to push forward Vietnam-US comprehensive partnership, which benefit people of both countries.

PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc is the first leader in South East Asia who met US President Trump in person in White House. During the talk with PM Phuc, Trump expressed US's supports for Vietnam in hosting APEC 2017 and looked forward to his trip to Vietnam to attend the APEC summit in November 2017./.
