More than 80 people have died in recent days after drinking toxic bootleg alcohol in the Indian state of Punjab, officials and reports said on Saturday (Aug 1).

The three expats’ fishing picnic turned into a disaster as they drank the beer mixed with methanol and got poisoned. One died on the spot, two others hospitalized in server health condition.
