Tran To Nga, a nearly 80-year-old woman who has been fighting for Agent Orange victims for more than 10 years, shared with Vietnam Times on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Agent Orange disaster in Vietnam (August 10, 1961 - August 10, 1961).

Ton Nu Thi Ninh, Vice President of the Vietnam Peace Committee and President of the HCM City Peace and Development Foundation under the city's Union of Friendship Organisations (HUFO), stressed the must for persistence of a lawsuit against the US companies that provided the chemical toxins used by the US army during the war in Vietnam.

Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang on February 4 made comment on a French court’s acceptance of the lawsuit filed by Tran To Nga, a French Vietnamese woman, against 14 multinational companies for producing and selling chemical toxins used by the US army in the war in Vietnam, which have destroyed the environment and affected the health of generations of Vietnamese people.

Hundreds of activists gathered in Paris on January 30 to show their support for Vietnamese Agent Orange (AO)/dioxine victims after a litigation session of the Crown Court of Evry city for the case filled by Vietnamese-French woman Tran To Nga against 14 companies for producing and selling chemical toxins sprayed by US forces in the war in Vietnam.

President of the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange (AO)/dioxin (VAVA) Nguyen Van Rinh has sent a letter expressing support for Vietnamese-French Tran Thi To Nga who had filed a lawsuit against 26 US chemical companies that produced the chemical toxins sprayed by the US army in the war in Vietnam.
