San Francisco Celebrates First Ever Vietnam-US Friendship Heritage Day

During a working visit to the United States of a delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs in late August 2024, Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang, head of the Committee, received a declaration signed by the Mayor of San Francisco. The declaration officially recognizes September 2, 2024, as Vietnam-US Friendship Heritage Day in the city and county of San Francisco.
