The government has approved a pilot reopening of several domestic air routes starting Oct. 10 with further adjustments being made later on

The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) has proposed to the Ministry of Transport that additional air routes could be operated between April 23 and April 30, including 20 flights per day running on the Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City route.

Some domestic air carriers including the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines, low-cost Vietjet Air and Bamboo Airways have announced to re-open flights between provinces and cities in the country as the novel coronavirus has been steadily constrained.
