The current situation of human trafficking crimes has developed complicatedly, increasing both in number of cases and seriousness. The authorities have taken professional measures in the human trafficking prevention, promoting the combined strength of the entire political system and the public to preventing, controlling and gradually exterminating human trafficking crimes nationwide.

World Vision International in Vietnam has collaborated with the National Hotline 111 – Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) to develop the application to connect and synchronize the Zalo account – the website and the database of the National Hotline 111, to increase outreach to child protection and trafficking victims and at risk groups.

An animation film promoting public awareness on human trafficking has been produced in collaboration between Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
