Vietnam expects to have a safe and effective Covid-19 vaccine in October 2021 when shortening the reviewing, appraising and approving of clinical trial process as well as testing and licensing of Covid-19 vaccine.

In the afternoon of June 30, Vietnam Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam, Head of the National Steering Committee on COVID-19 Prevention and Control, presided a meeting on the pandemic prevention and control in the current period.

“Made-in-Vietnam” vaccines against COVID-19, which is developed by the State-owned Company for Vaccine and Biological Production No.1, and sponsored by the Vingroup Innovation Foundation- VinIF (belongs to Vingroup) has witnessed speedy research progress, meaning possible vaccines may not be far away.
