The Bunpimay Festival celebrating New Year in Lao's culture centers around acts of festive, leisure and entailing activities. The Laotian student communities across Vietnam organize many meaningful event to celebrate Bunpimay with Vietnamese localities.

200 scholarships with a total value of VND 600,000,000 were awarded by the Vietnam Study Promotion Association to excellent Lao students studying in Vietnam.

Over 400 overseas Laos students studying in Vietnam have been fostered by Vietnamese parents, which is a testament to the long-lasting bilateral relation between Vietnam and Laos.
