More than 8,500 foreign tourists have come to Vietnam under the Government’s pilot plan to welcome international tourists in the pandemic’s era of new normalcy.

Ho Chi Minh City, a major tourist hub, will only consider welcoming back foreign tourists from next year onwards, with this year's focus being on reviving domestic tourism.
