The delegates at the Congress agreed to improve its activities towards organising more cultural, artistic and educational exchanges, in order to strengthen the bilateral friendship, solidarity and cooperation between Tay Ninh and foreign countries. The Union will continue working as a consultant and a bridge for Vietnamese and international businesses.

The Union will also aim to be an active member of the VUFO, and contribute to enhancing the partnership between Tay Ninh and international countries in education, culture and economics.

Emphasising the province’s role as a bridge connecting the region with areas bordering Cambodia, the delegates noted the Union should mobilise all resources to expand the network of partners in order to enhance links with organisations and people worldwide.

Tay Ninh has advantages for agricultural development as its agricultural land accounts for more than 65 per cent (nearly 270,000 ha) of natural land, with rather flat terrain making it easy for agricultural production.

As of last year, the province had attracted 655 projects, including 250 foreign-invested, with a combined investment capital of more than USD 5.98 billion./.
