Accordingly, over 95,700 revolutionary contributors, including martyrs’ relatives, worshippers of Vietnamese heroic mothers, wounded soldiers, heroes of the armed forces and labour heroes will be given presents worth VND300,000.

In addition, more than 38,500 elderly people will receive presents worth VND200,000-500,000 while each commune will be presented VND3 million to organise a celebration for the elderly.

For poor people, the provincial People’s Committee plans to give assistance to 20 extremely disadvantaged families in each ward and communes.

Apart from the provincial budget, the authorities will mobilise resources from organizations and communities to give assistance to beneficiaries and extremely disadvantaged people during Tet./.
