(VNF) - With the intention to bring family and handicraft businesses “made in Vietnam” into down town as unique spot for locals, expats and tourists, The Arts & Crafts Market Hanoi, organised by IESV (International Education Services Vietnam), will be organised on the third Saturday of every month.

The first event will be held on Saturday (May 20^th), from 9 am to 5 pm at 1B Dang Thai Than str., Phan Chu Trinh ward, Hoan Kiem dist., Hanoi.

This venue within its location close to Hoan Kiem lake should gather the best and unique of Hanoian´s creative and handicraft artists. The formerly horse barn occupied by French military with offices upstairs nowadays disappeared from the public. The nicely set back building welcomes guests and tourists with an wide open front yard, shaded Arcades, little rooms and a hidden back yard where coffee and bits to eat are available.

Some of the names to take part in this first Arts & Crafts Market Hanoi including Mekong Quilts, Work Room Four, GỐC Studio, Reddoor Lacquerware, AROMASIA organic and natural product, artist Nguyen Thu Thuy – creator of Hanoi’s ceramic wall, Hazari Gul Indian crafts, by Campioni art design interior and jewelry.

This event will be an opportunity for cultural exchange between Hanoi locals and expats, creatives, intellectuals but also a real family event with kids entertainment and life music./.
